What the hell is up with that?

So I finally got my freggin’ check!  But before I got it I got two letters stating I was getting it.  Not to mention the first letter stating that I was eligible for a “$600.00 solve all my financial problems government hush up flunky check”.  My father got one of those too, then he got one that said he wasn’t eligible, then he got  one that said my sister wasn’t eligible (she’s developmentally delayed), then he got one saying that not only was he getting $600.00 but he was going to get the grand pappy of all “solve all my financial problems government hush up flunky check’s” - a $1,200.00 one!  Yeahhhh!!!

I listen to those on the right tell me how wonderful the shaved chimp in the White House is for approving such an Economic Stimulus package.  To which I say - if a democratic White House passed this all you Republicans and right wingers would be screaming “Socialists”.  So give me a break would you please.  It was my money to begin with and I got some of it back, it’s about freggin’ time!  I  know about ten people that have received their checks and 9 of them are going to use them to get caught up with the oil companies so they can stay warm this winter.  So in short all the government did was give us back our money so that we could buy more oil that our government is running up as high as it can.  Yeah, yeah, yeah - I’ve heard it before and I’m sure I’ll hear it again, “Fish, the government has nothing to do with oil prices”  You’ll pardon me for saying so… “BULLSHIT”!!!!!

If Chevron didn’t a tanker named after the Secretary of State, if Haliburton had nothing to do with petroleum products, if that shaved chimp wasn’t rubbing elbows with oil sheiks, you might be able to convince me otherwise.  But guess what, they do and you can’t.  But I digress.

I’ve been economically stimulised, the government wasted more money telling me my check was coming by sending out letter after letter.  They could have probably given me an extra $50.00 with all the stupid letters they sent.    My favorite was the one I got saying that I would receive my check in two days!  It also said if I didn’t wait six weeks and call someone.  Jesus!  Can’t wait until January 20th 2009… unless for some reason McCain gets elected, then I’ve only got one thing to say - What the hell is up with that?
